DescriptionWhether it’s a computer with more memory, a cluster with thousands of cores, a big data platform, an internet of things solution, or open-source machine learning at scale, you can achieve more using the cloud. Microsoft Azure provides an open, flexible, global platform that supports multiple programming languages, tools, and frameworks. This workshop will take us into the Azure offerings available to researchers as well as explore a few case studies on how these offerings have impacted academic research. This will be followed by two of Deployment of Microsoft’s HPC Pack, and then How to use Azure CycleCloud Create, manage, operate and optimize HPC and big compute clusters of any scale.
