Rosalia Gomez
Rosalia Gomez is the manager of Education & Outreach at the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC) at The University of Texas at Austin, where she creates and oversees programs that expand public understanding and appreciation of the value of high performance computing and career opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. She leads the XSEDE Student Program which provides computational research experiences for diverse undergraduate and graduate students. Previously, Rosalia worked as the Director of MEDPEP, administered by the Center for the Study of Latino Health and Culture at UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine, and at Cerritos College in Southern California. Gomez holds a master’s in Urban Planning from UCLA and bachelor’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from the University of La Verne.
